330ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Maple syrup, coffee, vanilla, biscuit, waffle, peanut butter, pecan, not much of a hint of booziness. A bizarrely thick body. Absolutely fabulous.

Bottle from the Brewery online shop. Pours oily black with a thin brown head. Aromas of chocolate, toffee, nuts, maple. Taste is sweet, getting the waffle element, more chocolate, nuts. Very viscous, rich and thick. Maple syrup lingers nicely.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong maple, roast, dark chocolate, wood, vanilla. Slick body, maple, vanilla, roast, dark chocolate, nice spice, boozy finish, very nice.

From tap. Pours pitch black, small brown head. Aroma is dense maple syrup and toffee malt. Sweet, dense malt, maple syrup. Lingering sweet chocolate and maple syrup finish.

Optisch schwarz wie die Nacht, auch der Schaum. In der Nase Stout, süß, tatsächlich auch teigig, Waffeln. Im Trunk sehr cremig, süß, ich denke an Cupcakes, Marshmallow, etwas dunkle Schokolade, Sahne, irgendwie ein sündig kalorienreicher Nachtisch. Da ich grad nen fetten Fetten Burger hatte, genau das Richtige. Dabei merkt man überhaupt keinen Alkohol. Unfassbar.

Bottle, 11.5%. Black with tiny brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, maple, caramel, little soy, little "labre larver", liquorice and vanilla. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, caramel, dark chocolate, sweet, warming, vanilla, maple, lacto, liquorice, little "labre larver" and medium bitter.

Very sweet with plenty of maple. Heavy roast to balance it. Lots of dark chocolate, vanilla & fudge. Very sweet but manages to pull it off.

Fat all in Beer fest. Svartare än icelands väder. Som vanligt extremt fyllig i munnen med klassisk rostad karaktär och sötma. God som vanligt från bryggeriet när det gäller Imp Stout. Härligt
