Refreshing and exciting in equal measure, Yu Lu is brewed with Earl Grey tea and lemon zest for taste that belies its strength. Distinct peach and apricot notes are complemented by zesty bergamot flavours and a delicate loose leaf tea bitterness.

33cl Bottle. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is light hoppy, sweaty, light grainy. Flavour is light sweaty, light citrusy, cocoa, grain, bitter finish. Light bodied. Not great tbh, expected more of this.

33cl bottle at Yume Ramen, Rimini, Italy. Can't tell the colour (served in a non-transparent glass), stable white foam. Aroma is hoppy and very nice citrus, fruity (apricot), gives a hint of spicy too. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderately bitter, but still delicate. The tea feeling can be felt connected to a little bit of sweetness. Finish is average too.

Cloudy blond appearance with thin head. Aroma and flavour do have some elements of green tea. Also lots of zesty hop notes especially lime. A little thin bodied but extremely flavoursome.

21/11/2018. Cask at the Draft House Chancery, London. Pours clear golden amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of biscuit, citrus, light tropical fruit, oranges and tea. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Light to moderate body, slight watery texture, very soft carbonation. Subtle bitterness to finish. Not a fan of tea infused beers but this one worked quite nicely.
