A fine golden ale similar in style to American Pale Ale. Brewed using three different aromatic American hop varieties which give fruity, floral and citrus-like flavours. Fresh and hoppy with a long bitter finish. First brewed October 2011 as a special request.

From cask. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and slight grapefruity. Smooth fruity, crisp hoppy. Bitter, citrusy and smooth fruity. Crisp fruity finish.

Bottle from Craig’s dregs run. Pours pale gold, light haze, thin white head. Aromas of orange, light fresh fruit. Taste is bitter, light caramel at the back. Clean finish. Not bad.

Bottle at craig’s. Pours hazy golden orange, nose is floral, toffee, orange, taste is dry, fizzy, toffee.

14th December 2014
Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and minerally crisp. Light orangey citrus. light pith. Thin malts underneath. Light dry finish. A bit thin and dry but okay.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 9/7/2014. Deep gold in colour, with a decent, off-white head. Pleasant, with solid malts, a dab of marmalade and lingering, bitter finish. Good.

Cask (handpump) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2012, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium orange colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting - diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, caramel, sour, soured milk notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, soured milk. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120505]

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mildly floral with some toast. Flavour is fruity, floral, hoppy and caramelly. Quite richly hopped golden ale.

500ml Bottle - Amber with a slight haze and a small head. Pineapple, grapefruit and toffee in the aroma. Nicely balanced taste with notes of tea, fudge and grapefruit. Drinkable and tasty.
