750ml bottle thanks to Dallas bottle 1281 of 1531. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice pine spruce tips some earthy notes and a little funk. Tatse is more of the nice pine spruce some light fruit and funk.

Bottle shared by Aaron at the RBWG 2014 grand tasting, thanks! Pours a cloudy deep amber brown with a purple hue and a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of dark grains with a bit of earthy pine and grass. Flavor is similar with dark grains and light roast backed by a bit of pine.

Bottle at RBWG Asheville Grand Tasting. End of the bottle. Pours murky brown with a creamy head. Some brett funk, toasted bread, dirt. Very dry. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Super dry on the finish, more brett tang, some burnt pine, earth. Novel.

Bottle 750ml. [ Bottle #420/1531 ]. Unclear - hazy light to medium brown red colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, brett, tart malt, moderate hoppy, dry grass. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, dry, acidic. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130427]

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, caramel, and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, wood, roasted malt, and caramel, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is grapefruity and light peachy. Smooth fruity. Grapefruity and light citrusy. Peachy and grapes. Citric and smooth fruity finish. Bitter and citric. Dry and citric finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours brown with an orange hue and a dense and lacing off-white head. Bretty, farty nose atop some sour berries. Medium body, heavy funk and barnyard, very subtle roast and a distinct lactic tartness. Clearly a Sour - not much left of the original Black IPA. 270413
