Pint can obtained from Half Time early this year. A tulip glass from Buffalo Bayou handles the duties this evening, I open the can and pour. I see a cloudy body of off-yellow in color with a frothy head of totally white foam. The scent is hoppy and somewhat tropical. I have a drink and the taste goes a different direction. Lemons, a touch of cedar, some orange peel, malt, mangoes and a hoppy dankness. A little bitter, likewise with sweet. Curious combinations, a mellow beer. Tolerably all right, I do not think this is one I seek out again.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Continuing my record shattering number of different fresh hop beers for this season. A bright and shiny golden pour. A lighter feel beer here, but no shortage in flavor. A bit of a lemon, citrus, grassy throughout. Very modest bitterness. Overall a very pleasant pale here. Super easy drinking, and extremely refreshing. I've been to Hood River once, and didnt have time to stop at each brewery. With each new beer I try, it reminds me that i should have gone here over the others. Excellent beer, as usual from these folks.
