Sample at the tap room. The beer is a hazy yellow-orange color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of biscuit malt and grassy hops. Light-bodied with flavors of bready malt and mildly bitter herbal hops. The finish is lightly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample from a bottle. Light bodied; citrus; slight fruity sweetness. I can see why the brewer calls it a thirst-quencher.

Tap. Pours a clear light amber with a small white head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is of grain and a little grass/wheat with a bit of sweetness. Taste is grainy/grassy with a bitter, almost metallic finish.

Distinct hay and peas aroma. Golden with a thin white head. Grassy hay and parsley flavors. Celery finish. It tastes very green. This is pretty good but difficult to find even for me, and I only live 4 miles from the brewery. Has a unique pilsenery edge.

Crystal clear light amber coloured body with a super-thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel, peaches, raisins and fresh low a.a. hops. Light to Medium-bodied; Sharp hoppiness up front fading into a nice caramel presence with a light aftertaste of raisins. Overall, a decent beer - hard to pin down the style just from a sample, but I’d say they were trying to brew an APA. Decent though for the beer fest! I sampled this six ounce sample from pseudo-draught at the Old Dominion 2005 Beer Festival on 24-June-2005 in Ashburn, Virginia.

At Virginia Beer Festival. I enjoyed this one. Light and citrus flavors, a little bitter. Crisp taste and similar finish.
