Crisp golden coloured body with a one centimetre tall, fast-dying just off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, nice fresh hops, a hint of raisins and caramel and a bit of white grapes - nice. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy malt character with the white grape flavour that really shows through, some light citrus and dry malt flavours with a hint of sweetness on the end. Aftertaste shows a good complexity with a very nice balance of malt and hops with some light sugars and a very soft feel. Overall, a nice beer - great for the springtime and a good beer to sample. Definitely worth trying if you can find it and you like lighter styles. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 02-April-2013 for US$0.99 sampled at home in Washington on 05-April-2013.

Weak vinegar nose. Crystal clear copper, thick head. Sweet caramel and maraschino cherry flavor. Medium body, alcohol not noticeable. I’ve had some good bocks lately, but this one is a reminder of why I don’t like the style. Cloying and boring.

Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a clear amber color with a large creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Nutty aroma with very lightly toasted malts/ Some stone fruits and caramel as well. Fairly dry. Taste is caramel, apple, apricot and a grainy finish. Leafy hops as well with a very, very faint hint of chocolate. Medium bodied. Good beer.

Copper color, high carbonation. Nice, subtle aroma. Not much of a flavor at first but after a few seconds there is a sweet hoppy flavor. Nice, but doesn’t last long.
