On tap at teh site in October. Cloudy red with a lasting pink head. Malty and herbal aroma with DMS, and a hint of cherry. Sweetish pils malt flavour with cherries and a sting of chili. The cherry sweetness and chili heat is well balanced and works quite well

(Draught at the brewpub, Berlin, 22 July 2010) Red colour with foamy, pink head. Fruity nose with notes of cherries and chilli (no surprises I suppose). Fruity, fairly sweet taste with notes of cherries and a generous chilli bite coming through in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet with a hot, spicy finish lingering for quite a while. Interesting and weird. Drinkable in moderate amounts.

08/03 Draught at the brewpub. It poured slightly hazy reddish to violet body with pretty big pink head. Cherry aroma is overwhelming sweet bread malt. Cherry flavor at first, then peppery chili starts to bite. Nothing too much, just to fight with juicy cherry flavor. Medium to fuller body. In finish chili definitely wins and stays in the mouth for quite long time but sour-sweet cherry remains as well. Not overly strong and very drinkable chili beer, actually the first I enjoyed.

Draught at the brewpub. Poured an almost clear red-brown with a big thick pink head. Light cherry nose, slightly dusty and bready. The taste is in short, sweet cherry fighting with a strong (but not the strongest I’ve encountered) chili finish and aftertaste. Actually quite drinkable despite the persistent burn. Finally a chili beer that I didn’t dislike (the last one was that chocolate chili beer).

Test vom 27.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 10,8,10,7,-,7 - 7,94
