Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - very pale golden. Nice fluffy head. Nose - oranges and a hint of cake. Taste - oranges again and with a bitter pithy oramge finish. Light resin comes in too but not top much. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent ale. Would say it was more in the session ipa style.

Handpull cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Light gold, very little head but lots of natural carbonation. Light citrus aroma. Bittersweet taste with hints of grapefruit and a trifle soapy. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. Thin body. Good without being great, I’d like a lot more character but alas it is not to be.

Cask at the Euston Tap, Euston. A pale amber pour with a creamy white head; aroma of damp straw; citrusy taste; and a long grassy bitter finish. A drinkable, but rather unexciting golden ale.
