Bottle shared in London - picked up in CPH at Barleywine. Pours clear, dark brown with a frothy, khaki head. The has toasty, grainy bread, hints of grapes. Light to medium sweet flavor with lots of ripe, dark fruits, mellow bitterness brown bread and cereal. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, further toasty cereal, grapes, berries. Extremely simplistic and almost devoid of hops. OK, sort of.

6th February 2013
Opaque black - brown beer with a big pale tan head. Palate is light and crisp. Minerals. Very mild dark malt with traces of roast and lactose. Mild dark chocolate. Not a lot of hops here, just a trace of piney orange. Barely there! Finishes fairly neutral. Nice enough but hardly an IPA!
