Looks like a bomber, but actually 500 ml. Pours a dark brown color, unclear, with a large beige head. A nose of metallic roasted malt, fruit. The label says a best before date is on the crown of the bottle, but there is no such date. Rich fruit, some super sweet odd fruity notes, pine, light caramel. Pretty decent. Something isn’t working here though.

Bomber from Belmont Station. Pours dark brown with a creamy/foamy beige/tan head. Aromas of burnt dark malt witha sour subtext. Not quite med body. Flavor is watery, burnt malt, somewhat hoppy. Maybe coffee in the finish. Easy to see why this has a lowish rating.

Bottle. It’s a reddish dark brown beer topped by a dense, finger-thick light beige head. Looks clear. The aroma is quite weak, with some hop notes and caramel. Equally boring flavor, but at least it’s not bad. Some bitterness towards the end. Full body, quite dry, and pleasantly carbonated. Even though it’s not bad in any way, I can’t say I’m tempted to repeat it in any way. That would be waste of time. 130216
