Brewing is the craft of blending science with artistry then introducing the mystical. Field to Ferment exemplifies this adventure. We will brew this fresh hop ale throughout the entire hop harvest in Yakima using each of four hop varieties as they are harvested. At least that’s the plan. Nature may have a different plan. Such is the harvest. In order of harvest, we will brew with fresh Centennial, Simcoe, Citra, and finally Mosaic hops.

Field to Ferment represents a colossal collaboration between the brewery and our hop farmers. No one has attempted to brew fresh hop beers throughout the entire season. Please do enjoy this beer absolutely fresh, and enjoy the adventure this beer represents...Because Fresh Hop Beer Matters!

12 oz can poured, to complete the set individually. Now I will run through them all side by side and compare. Not much will be new I’m sure. Good. Good. Good. Good. I suppose I’ll also celebrate the Bengals 8th TD of the year here, though the loss hurt. I still told myself I would cheers and rate a new beer for each one. Golden orange pour with a thick cream foam head. Juicy citrus and mild pine aroma. Super fruit juice flavor profile. Each one of these beers were great in both individual and combined ways. This one in particular was.especially juicy and creamy, with a cool and bright hop to compliment. Grapefruit constant, low bitter citrus rind. Extremely well executed fresh hop here. I unfairly called.the citrus.my favorite before trying this one. I learned a lesson today.
