Bottle 330ml.[ Trade by cgarvieuk ]. Clear dark brown colour, speaking, with a large, frothy, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, nutty, chocolate, grass, light wood. Some odd thing in the aroma - maybe it is oat. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fizzy, dark fruit, dark malt, tea bitter, oat acidic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft and fizy. Thanks Craig, very grateful you did passing this beer on, Cheers Craig and well done on you 10K milestone. [20130112]

Bottle thanks to Cgarvieuk, thanks Craig. Black beer with lasting beige head. Oatmeal stouty aroma. Yes a pretty tasty stout. Bit strange on the finish. Mind you, I don’t drink tea. Starts well and tails off a bit, but I think that is the tea. Anyway, thanks a lot Craig its been a huge amount of fun drinking with you.

Bottle at ChrisO tasting, thanks to Chris, 30/12/12. Very dark mahogony brown with a decent tan head that retains well. Nose carries malt, chocolate and a little background hops. Taste comprises dark malts, touch of chocolate, caramelised sugars, touch of yeast, light hoppage. Medium bodied with moderate soft carbonation, bitter and sweet in the finish.

Stopped regular rating 22nd Oct 2012 but a very big thanks to Craig for sending me this beer to help celebrate his 10,000th, my first beer of 2013 had this 1st January 2013 Pours almost black in colour with a very busy tan head, really lively. Tangy and fruity with some watery coffee flavours and a light smokiness and a bit of wet baccy. In truth I am finding this a little thin and watery, just like a black tea I guess :-) which is also something I am not a great fan of. Fine, but not totally my thing, but I am very, very grateful for Craig for passing this beer on, cheers Craig and well done on the milestone. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0
