Tap at BBP Shinjuku. Yum. Creamy but not too rich, some kind of dubbel type thing going on. Lightly spicy too. No idea about cascara but they said halfway between tea and coffee and I can see that. Little bit of caramel. Very interesting.

330ml bottle. Murky, brown colour with late awakening, small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of coffee, instant coffee, fruity, hoppy overtones with hints of plum. Taste is dark malty, slightly bitter and minimally spicy, hints of cocoa powder, instant coffee, a touch of coffee surrogate, celery; quite watery throughout.

Bottle, 330 ml, shared with Miro, JFK10000 and Max. Pours brown with small tan head. Malty, caramel, bit nutty. Sweetish. Surprisingly watery and quite bland. Light bodied.

Trevlig.

Tap at Shinjuku. PRetty deep red, cloudy, with lace. Tart cherry nose, creamy. Flavor is cherry and coffee. Weird, a bit interesting. Light and smooth, with soft carbonation. Interesting experiment, but don’t need more.

Pours reddish brown, not much carb. Cherries and fruits in the nose. Roasted coffee and malt flavours in the taste, coffee cherries? Smokey and roasted to some extent. Little bitterness in the finish. Interesting, not too great.

Bouteille 33cl from Geers, BB 10/2018.
