The Jackdaw is our 2014 pumpkin beer. Each year we brew one batch of squash beer with no added spices. This year, the base style is a dark saison with flame toasted pumpkin and acorn squash added post kettle boil. A traditional saison yeast strain provides the "spice" tones to compliment the squash character.
