Bottle at BD Shep’s Bush. It pours lightly hazy bright gold with a medium white head. The aroma is quite mellow, cracker, cereal, minerals, white bread and straw. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, straw, grass, white bread, cracker, lemon rind and touch of spice with a drying finish. Light - medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Quite mellow and easy drinking. Not quite as good as previous version, but it’s not bad.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Bottle Shop, I reckon. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a foamy, white head. Moderate tropical fruits in the nose, mango, papaya, wheat, pale bread, light yeast. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of dry bread, mellow sourdough, a little hay, lemon peel. Medium bodied with fairly active carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, with more tropical accents, some rindy citrus, crispy pale bread. Solid beer, drinks real nice.

(bottle, 33cl, sampled at Kloster Andechs) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a huge foamy white head. Fruity and resiny hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and grapefruit, mixed with spicy Belgian yeas. Surprisingly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeast-spicy, mildly bready malty taste with a good dash of fruity and resiny hops, lingering into the bitter and slightly sweet finish. A goodie. 14.VI.17

Bottle @ Willems Grobbendonk. Pours hazy deep golden with a thick white head. Floral crispy hoppy and a touch of yeast. Freshly baked bread and vague citrus. Elegance at its finest. Good burps. Delicate.
