Bottle as "nuclear charged bock beer". Pours murky leather brown with medium white head. Aroma is sweet malt, passion fruit, red grapefruit juice and hints of kerosene. Taste is very sweet and medium bitter. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long and balanced bitter and sweet with notes of malt, grapefruit, port wine, gravy, coffee, licorice, cardamom and nutmeg. Smooth yet strong.

Fra flaske (bb. 01/14) på RBHD-treff hos OG mars-15: gusher! Uklar gylden med tett, offwhite skum. Igjen en god aroma av modne bær, men smaken minner mer om overmodne bær. Forsiktig men lang bitterhet, lett å helle over ganen. Lurer på hvordan en ferskere utgave smaker.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 10.1%. BB date 01/14. Gusher bottle. Hazy brown colour, large off-white head. Moderate but nice fruity aroma, hints of ripe berries, also some vinous and oaky notes. Nice flavour too, not too sweet, malty and oaky notes, decent hops in the finish.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey dark golden to amber colour with late awakening, thick, creamy, fairly lating, moderately lacing, grey-ish, off-white head. Slightly smoky aroma, shoe polish, peat, TCP, toffee background, hints of dried fruit, sticking-plaster. Taste is sweet, smoky, hints of peat, TCP, a minimally fruity touch, some dried fruit, hints of alcohol in the finish; oily texture. Presumptuous and superfluous.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear red brown, short-lived beige head. Aromas of wood, alcohol, nuts, dried fruit. Taste is more fruit, booze, sticky finish. Not as bad as I was expecting!

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Hazy dark russet brown with lasting beige head. Boozy aroma. Some fruity malt. Better in mouth, touch of smoke. Aroma of smokey spirit on the aroma with some malt. Surprisingly smooth in the mouth. i quite like this to be honest. Still the aroma isn’t too good. Not sure what to make of it.
