330ml bottle on 22nd Feb 2017, shared with Mat before the monthly tasting at Chez Sophie. Thanks to Erzengel and Mat for country rate #124. Slight haze to the golden body, weak, thin, un-lasting white head. Aroma was leaning towards grainy, as was the semi-sweet taste. Sweetcorn like flavour wise, not a great Pale Lager in anybody’s book, but on a hot, sunny Martinique beach it would quench your thirst nicely.

330ml bottle shared with Blackhaddock @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie. From trade with Erzengel. Many thanks! Pours a hazy gold, thin white head. Aroma is fairly heavy on the sweetcorn and pale sweet malts, taste continuing along similar lines, with some cobwebs on the finish. It’s a new country tick basically.

Bottle found in Forbach. Malty grainy nose. The beer starts smooth and slightly grainy. Not too deep, easy to drink with some sourish malty touch. Grainy fresh malty aftertaste, moderate bitter, easy to drink with not much depth. Somehow strange.

F: huge, long lasting, white. C: pale gold to straw, yellowish, clear. A: malty, some grassy/floral hops, mineral, apple, peppery, light citrus. T: sweet malty, estery fruity, hint of grassy bitterness on the palate, medium body, good carbo, 500ml can from supermarket in Guadeloupe.

Nice company at Jacobs Church by The Mighty Aker River in Oslo. The beer was drinkable, but probably a lot better when it has not travelled half The World. And on a sunny beach.
Clear golden color with a nice white top. Good lacing even on a plastic mug. Unusual fruity aroma with an ok intensity. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Unusual fruity (essence) flavor. Also malty and herbal.

50cl can shared by Cunningham - thanks a lot! Pours clear golden with a modest, white head. Mild fruity and slightly malty aroma with notes of canned peaches and cooked vegetables. A bit candy like with canned fruits, grain and caramel flavour and not much bitterness to speak of, pretty sweet, but still drinkable enough.

Bottle split at GBBF ’15, day 3, thanks to Ollie Jobbins 13/08/15. Pale golden topped with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is pale malt, paper, cereals, grain. Taste comprises grain, more paper, blandometer hight into dark amber, cereals. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. MEH!

GBBF Day 3. Bottle. Thanks again to Ollie for more exotic ticks! Lightly hazy pale gold beer. Tidy white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Skewed tangy pale malts. Skewed tangy floralness. Light dry finish. Way off centre.
