Bottle, gift from Pam. Hazy deep golden body with no head. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of orange zest, honey and a hint of bourbon. Flavour of red grape and nectarine with a sour lemon finish. Medium body with a spritzy texture. Very fizzy. It’s complex bit too sharp/acidic for me to love it.

On tap at Uno Pizzeria & Grill in Hamilton, NJ. Slightly hazed amber gold color. Small creamy beige head. Funky, boozy malt aroma hints at dried cherries and orange marmalade. Flavor is slightly sour with notes of dried fruits, candied citrus peel, yeasty funk, plums, apricot and grape skins. wonderfully complex and deliciously balanced. Noticeably boozy on the back end. some resiny hops as well.

500ml corked and caged lambic bottle. 2017 vintage. (11.6% ABV) Pours a hazy amber-orange with a thin, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, orange peel, apricot, peach, vinegar, red wine, oak and funky yeast. Sweet fruity flavour of caramel malt, apple cider vinegar, orange peel, apricot, peach. lemon, red wine, oak, funky yeast and faint bourbon in a dry, acidic, sour finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Very enjoyable, lots of complexity.

Tap @ Borefts. Malt and roast in the fairly simple aroma. Malty sweet and sour flavor. Vinous, bourbon, vanilla, soft roast. Dried citrus. INtensely sweet, hides the alcohol somewhat.
