Part of a delivery from a very fine Belgian retailer, I possess a 33 cl bottle of Maitre Quad Dalmore BA. I'm using a snifter from a relatively nearby brewery in Texas to make the tasting tonight. I tilt into the glass, maybe a bit too aggressively, a bit of dark brown-amber liquid with a tall head of finely bubbled light tan foam. The nose is interesting, dark fruit certainly with a stiff hit of booze. My first taste of this beer is, well, it is pretty good. Dark plums, currants, baked bread, syrup and whiskey. All very nicely put together in the style that is my favorite.
