I got the heads-up from a beer friend, thanks Kenny, of a few remaining four packs of Full Grown Pastry Chef w/ Peanut Butter at the local HEB. New to both of us, doesn't matter, it is an imperial stout. I'm familiar with Tupps from their IPAs, nothing real exciting on those. My Buffalo Bayou snifter is set to receive the contents of the 12 oz can. An anticipated brown-black liquid with just a smattering of tan foam around the rim of the glass. The scent definitely gives off a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup vibe. Really a nice taste then. I like it when an adjunct beer actually has the taste of the added ingredient. Dark chocolate, peanuts, licorice, blackberry, malt and grain. Easily the best Tupps brew I have had.
