Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from the Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Murky pale yellow with a good sized white head. Nose is pear drops, light yeast, bready, spice, ripe nana. Taste comprises yeast esters, light noffee pie, hint of cardboard, toffee, straw. Medium body, fine carbonation. So so hefe.

Dieses Bier habe ich vor einigen Jahren bereits getrunken, aber jetzt muss ich zugeben, dass es doch weitaus besser ist, als ich es damals empfand. Es ist ein schön süffiges Bier mit schön fruchtigen Noten nach Banane, Mango und co. Dazu noch bio - ein schönes Bierchen.

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average firm frothy white head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma with a somewhat strange spicy note like celery and radish. Taste is wheaty with a tart fruity apple note, fizzy carbonation. A bit too narrow and monotonous in taste, too strong carbonated.
