Pitch black pour with a tan head. Notes of coconut, vanilla, tonka, milk chocolate, espresso, cinnamon, cloves, cocoa nibs. Smooth, velvety mouthfeel, low carbonation, full body, chocolate-rich finish. I love tonka beers, and this one is really well crafted, very nice balance between the tonka beans and the base beer and an excellent body and texture. Goes well if you pair it with some dark chocolate, too.

Bottle at home. Black with no head. Deep roasted malts, overpowering strange dark fruity notes, vanilla. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Full body and soft carbonation.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is vanilla, coffee, tonka beans, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, I also get an idea of cinnamon, vbut it might be the tonka beans. Taste is cocoa, coffee, tonka beans, vanilla, black chocolate. Medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Very nice!

Sampled at Foeders, Amsterdam. Opaque pitch black color, small dark brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, vanilla, cinnamon and heavy tonka beans indeed. A bit sweet and a bit bitter. Decent.

8 4 8 4 16 Draft at Brewda '17. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, toffee, fudge and coffee. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
