Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks troubles. Clear amber. Oxidation, cardboard, stale malt, a bit of honey, a bit of vegetables, minerals, sweet, slightly bitterish finish, quite watery. Tastes old.

Cask at The Brewery Tap. Pours a clear gold with a slight amber hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of bread and straw with a faint hint of citrus underlying. Flavor is mainly bread and grain with a touch of hay.

Cask-conditioned at the Lord High Constable of England (JDW), Gloucester docks, July 2016. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Easy drinking pale ale with some tangerine fruit, hay, biscuity malts and leafy hops, ending in a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at Derehams Inn beer festival, High Wycombe. Light amber with a small white head. Overwhelming impression is of dust. There’s quite a bit of white pepper, a little grass and some vomit. Too much dust for me, a poor beer to end the night on.

Appearance is light orangey, not much of a head going on. Understated aromas- some hops, fruit and a hint of citrus. Taste- smooth, bitter, hoppy, a bit of malt. Pretty standard.

Cask at The Black Bear, Tewkesbury, Saturday 21st September 2013 Pours light amber with thin white rim. Reasonable bitter fine enough. There is fruitiness and interestingly a little marzipan. Its pleasant enough, served in pretty good nick. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
