Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Very dark, but not fully, with a creamy-smooth light-brown head. Lovely and smooth in the palate with subtle vanilla flavours within a fairly roasted maltiness.

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 17 Nov 2023) Dark brown colour, almost black, with brief head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, vanilla, milky coffee and caramel. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with chocolate, vanilla, caramel, nuts and a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body, quite sweet. On the sweet side, but rich and really tasty. Very nice.
