A chewy chocolate-vanilla dream of a porter. Bad Kitty earned its name from the antics of the two original brewhouse cats, who delight in mischievously supervising proceedings.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, August 22. Final beer of the night and I think we'd all had enough by this point. Pours black, good tanned topping. Aroma of chocolate, mild vanilla. Indeed, vanilla seems quite low in the mix overall, semi-sweet malt with a nice drinkability. Not bad.

Near black with a frothy beige head and dark fruits and vanilla on the nose. Velvety smooth and sweet, with milk chocolate and fruit flavours, and a roasted coffee bitterness in the finish

330ml can from Mitchells Wines, Meadowhead - Jet black bod, tan heed. Nose is chocolate ice-cream, roasty coffee bean, and a bit of smokiness. Taste is bittersweet up front, aftertaste of vanilla. A bit thin, but otherwise pleasant.
