Belgian Style - Strong Ale Regular Out of Production
Score
6.49
ABV: 11.1% IBU: - Ticks: 16
This unfiltered blonde Belgian style ale has a medium body with fruity aromas and residual malt sweetness. The Belgian strain of yeast provides a satisfying complexity to both the aroma and the flavor. Hop flavor and aroma are very low.

Bottle from a generous trader; shared at tasting at my house. Pours golden orange with white head. Nose and taste of white sugar cookies, lightly baked bread, yeast, lemon and orange zest. Taste is a bit muted compared to nose. Medium body.

Bottle. Boozy sour malt aroma. Hazy golden amber with a small white head, light lacing. Over caramelized malt and alcohol with a stale herbal bitter finish. Medium to full body. Way too boozy for my taste.

Bottle. Musty lemon peel malt and alcohol aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Sugary stale barley malt, lemon, and boozy alcohol flavor. Tastes old. Okay but not blown away.

Refrigerated bottle at Pies and Pints poured into a shaker. Pours translucent golden with small white head. Some lacing, medium/light carbonation, medium body, and fruit aroma. Taste is fruit in particular pressed apple, light citrus, light passionfruit, and a hint of alcohol. Warning, for the ABV the alcohol is so well covered this is dangerous. Simply the best belgian style beer I have had from WV.
