Cask at Cassidy's, Alton. Aroma is light and creamy, even lighter chocolate. Dark. Not glossy. Thick frothy foamy light beige head. Crescent chocolate. Sour coffee edge. Light-medium bodied.. Creamy, if watered down. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Slips down.

Cask (Guide Dog, Southampton) - Black in colour. Coffee and roasted malt in the aroma. Coffee, roasted malt and vanilla in the taste.

Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2012, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear dark dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, vomit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, chocolate, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120505]

Cask at the Guide Dog - St Denys (So’ton) - 09/09/12. Very dark chestnut brown with a frothy tan head. Dark malt nose with toffee, biscuit and coffee notes. Tastes as per nose with caramel and dark chocolate coming into play. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation with a dry finish. A solid stout!

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Very deep copper colour, close to black. Aroma is nutty, some liquorice, mild roasted malts as well as some dark fruityness. Flavour is nutty, fruity, caramelly, herbal and mild chocolaty.
