Farmhouse Ale Fermented in Red Wine Barrels — This is the barrel fermented version of "Are we doing this right?" our Collab with Off Color Brewing. A slightly sour farmhouse brown ale fermented with a blend of microbes from our own collection and bugs off color brewing brought down on brew day. Combines bitter black tea notes with delicate sweetness from the wildflower honey and some fruit notes from the red wine barrels.

Bottled 5/8/17 - this murky amber brown brew has a very small head and very much smells of red wine. The flavor is lightly sweet and bready with subdued saison funkiness and mild oak. Grapes are noticeable but not as strong as the aroma suggests. It’s pretty good though it’s likely past its prime.
