Bottle. Clear dark amber-brown color with off-white head. Aroma is nuts, roasted malts, the Neumartker Lammsbräu house character with the maggi and vegetables, but here it somehow fits. Taste is nutty, roasted, bready, grainy, slightly metallic finish. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not bad!

Pours auburn from the bottle. Leaves a creamy white head that soon subsides. Aroma is fairly typical for a Dunkles — malty sweet, chocolate, toffee, but also compost. Taste is sweet with strong chocolate notes, a bit cloying. Body is medium. Overall, not bad, but better with food than alone.

Ein Dunkles, dass einfach als süß zu bezeichnen ist. Nicht hopfig, nicht rauchig, nicht mal karamellig und nicht irgendwie tiefgründig...einfach nur picksüß. Da gib es besseres von der Brauerei.

Bottle from Systembolaget in Kiruna. Amber with a medium head. Light with malt, some notes of metal and caramel. Quite boring to be honest.

Grön flaska från SB. Bärnstensfärgad, klar med medelhögt ljusbeige skum. Brödig doft med halvmörkt rågbröd, jäst, hö, brödkryddor lite konserverad majs och smör. Tunn ganska söt brödig smak med drag av sirapslimpa men också lite beska brödryddor som ger en torrare avslutning och bra balans. Men ganska intetsägande annars. Ok-

Bottle. Copper/light mahagony. Nice head. Smell: malt, sugar, nuts and some german hops. Taste: malt, nuts, caramell, bread and just the slightest touch of banana. A little bit too sweet for my taste although there is some bitterness in the finish. Easy going Dunkel. Supersüffig.

50cl bottle from Biosupermakrt, Munster, drunk September 2014. Decent creamy off white head. Clear dark amber pour. Nice brew.
