Bottle as Organic Pilsner from Ledgers. Orange tinged golden color with a fine white head. Nice nobel hop aroma. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is mildly sweet with a fair amount of grassy/herbal hop. Finish is bready/hoppy. Spice/pepper notes. I could use more hop, but there’s enough. Very good for German, almost approaches Bohemian.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a diminished white head. Light citrus fruity aroma with a light hops and malt note. Flavour is light citrus fruity, mild malt base that just shows a bit of caramel and a subdued bitterness. Dryness and bitterness grows slowly towards the finish nicely mixed with a fresh citrus fruity note.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light touch of caramel, while the flavor is sweet and quite clean, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Huge offwhite shiny coarse head. Very faintly hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Chalky, earthy caramel aroma with notes of peas, straw, and rubber. Sweetish chalky straw and caramel taste with a soft mouthfeel. Notes of peas and earth. Dry earthy aftertaste with floral hop notes. Quite a lot of taste. A very good pilsener, and very unusual, although it definitely has the house profile. (0.33l bottle, Meny.)

[Bottled at Københavnske Øldage] Clear golden, no head. Surprisingly malt sweetness tops grassy hops, and the mouthfeel is rounded rather than crisp. Bready malt dominates. The finish is reasonably bitter though. Not the most pilsnerish german pilsner, but a good beer. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Zzzisch Edel Pils on 21 Aug 2006 at 02:52 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6. Original review text: [Bottled] Pale yellow. Grassy bready nose. Very dry with light-medium body. Soft and crisp, grassy and hoppy with rather bitter fiish. It certianly falls within the main track of German pilseners, but does not really excel. Very worthwile drinking though.

Bottle (330ml): Straw golden coloured, slightly hazy, lacing small white head; enormous floral hoppy aroma, covering some sweet malt; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft mouthfeel; lingering aromatic, hoppy finish. A first class Pils !
