Cask gravity at the Watford beer fest 2014. Aroma is malt led with nutty caramel and some berry and fruitcake. Amberr brown coloured pour with a loose off white head. Flavour is caramel and nutty malts with a light sharp apple flavour in the finish. Some raisin and dried fruits linger. Palate is medium sweet and nice semi crisp finish. Good beer.

500ml bottle from Appleyards, Shrewsbury. Drunk from the bottle. Taste brings a little caramel and light malts with a touch of toast. A good crisp taste. Decent quaffer,

Bottle drank on hols in St Ives. Hazy amber beer with a small and very pale cream coloured head. Palate is dry and crisp with a carbonated sting. Tangy orange, ripe and almost sour. Airy malt base. Dry finish. Okay.
