Oranje, koperkleurig bier, mooi vol schuim. Hop en citrus in het aroma. Goede bitterheid in de smaak. Weer een aangenaam bier van deze brouwer.

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy copper pour, two finger frothy, slightly off-white head. Medium to long lasting, solid lacing on the glass. Herbal fruity nose, citruses and grassy hops. Medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel, chewy texture, slightly oily. Balanced bittersweet taste and aroma. Caramel malt, grassy hops, hints of vanilla. Orange, grapefruit, pineapple. Good fruity character. Subtle lingering herbal spiciness and slight alcohol burn. Dry and somewhat sticky. Short to medium finish. Quite enjoyable.

33 cl. bottle @ Ale House, Apeldoorn. Hazy dark amber with a white head. Malty caramel aroma with lots of hops. Taste is bitter with also some sweetness. Finish is quite bitter and dry. Pretty decent DIPA but as it was a bit late in the evening/ early in the morning I cannot remember anything more.

Alkoholisch getreidig-hopfiger Beginn. Süffig, blumig würzig, etwas klebrig, erstaunlich süffig. Kurzer Nachhall. Okay. 10/10/9/10//10

DIPA by Oproer, thanks to the Belgian RateBeer crew for sharing at Gents Bierfestival. Egg-white, thinnish but moussy, open head on a hazy orange blonde beer. Aroma of lots of fresh pink grapefruit, red onions frying in olive oil, ripe mango, sweet paprika. Fruity onset, mango and pineapple, softish carb, soft and 'fluffy' mouthfeel, mellow 'doughiness' underneath a long, very aromatic, grapefruity New World hoppiness with tropical mango edges but at the same time providing a good amount of lingering bitterness, highlighted by warming, gin-like alcohol. Very decent IPA, another confirmation for me that Oproer belongs to the top league of today's Dutch microbrewers.

Thanks to sharing RB crew. Sampled bottled @ Gents Bierfestival 2018. Orange hazy, creamy white. Nose is strangely sweet, pastry, peach,… Nice but weirdly sweet sugar, pastry, peach, orange peel,… Not bad but weird for sure.
