Bomber. Pours a nice orangish amber with a medium-sized head and aromas of citrus, tropical fruit and pine. Looking forward to the first sip, I wasn’t disappointed. This was sharply hoppy and bitter with a lot of resin flavors in the mid to late finish. Malt balances nicely against the hops presence. I’m happy to be in Oregon for a while if this is what’s in store!

On tap at the Denali Park Salmon Bake, AK. Clearish orange-brown body, thin to medium off-white head. Bitter, leafy, hoppy nose with notes of brown sugar. Dry piny, toasty body, leafy and bitter, backed by biscuity malts. Nice, but certainly not a total domination.

Bottle at the Mad Dog in the Fog, San Francisco. Orangey pour with a slight haze and a smallish white head. Piney hop, citrus and sweet malts in the nose and flavour. Fullish mouthfeel. Dry lingering bitter finish. Decent, but a bit one dimensional, and not one that will linger especially long in the memory.
