Abduction in the dead of night, an eerie silence consumes the blackened sky. In an instant, BOOM, a single beam engulfs you. Panic stricken, you flee in no particular direction. It’s of little use, as you’re lifted effortlessly from the safety and comfort of the earth into a darkness unknown. Resistance is futile. They have you now. Abduction has you now.

Bottle, Batch #44, 2012. Oops :(. Pours opaque black with a small brown creamy head that dissipates leaving solid lacing. So far, so good. Aroma is really chocolatey, like REALLY chocolate, with heavy roasted malts and a hint of anise. Some molasses on the back end as well. Flavor has all of the above, light plus sweet and medium bitter, rich and cocoa filled, coffee grounds, a hint of sharpmess about it. Lingering roasty bitterness. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. This guy held up well, methinks
