Bottle at RBJG2. Dark brown, very thick. Aroma lots of darkness, booze. Taste is sweet honey, boozy, but not so much. Pretty good. Much more subtle than expected.

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, foamy, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, caramel, liquorice, black rye bread, honey, molasses, dried fruit, tamarind and alcohol. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with honey, treacle, dark chocolate, strong sweet black coffee, orange peel, molasses, tamarind and a warming, sweet finish with a balanced cacao bitterness. More than medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel. Very sweet. Hardly balanced, but really tasty with a sweet honey and espresso character. A bit boozy, but doesn't really taste 17,5%. Very nice.

Thsnks to craig for this beer. Black. Thick and rich, sweet. Very thick palate. This is dangerously drinkable. Some herbal character after the sweetness. Finisjes Finishes with some spices. Excellent. Very high abv is very well hidden.

375 ml bottle. 2012 vintage. Pours a thick black with no head. Aromas of dark molasses, licorice, and sweetened black coffee with quite a bit of alcohol. Flavors of sweet dark chocolate. Smooth and silky. Quite warm
