Thank you Sarah.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a glossy pale orange with a finger’s worth of a smooth white level head. As the head dissipated, stringy lacing stuck around the sides.
The smell had a cooked caramel aroma with a slight burnt pale citrus hops about it.
The taste was basically bitter with a side of caramel running about it in the background.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was mild but somewhat there. Overall, it’s an extra pale ale that fits the bill for the style and is okay to me.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color. Minimal head and no lacing to speak of. Aromas of biscuit, citrus, & mild earthy hops. Taste is toasted, earthy grains, stone fruits, and a mild hop presence. Light carbonation & body. Slightly sweet and dry with a mild bitter finish.

12th August 2014
GBBF Day 1. Cask. Cascade version, presumably dry hopped. Almost clear gold beer, not much of a head. Palate is light and dry. Not much carbonation. Orange squash like hops with some sweet floralness. Trace of lemon. Light dry finish. A bit flat, but nice floral fruits.

14th August Day 3. Fuggles version. Caramel malts, light and bitter orange. Marmalade. Light hop spice. Dry finish.

Gravity dispense at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14 as "Cascade". Golden with little in the way of a head. Nose is bitter orange, spice, light hop presence, earthy notes. Taste comprises orange squash, grass, toasted malts, bitter citrics. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Average for style, not sure the condition was too great on this one.

@ GBBF 2014 with Fuggle Hops. Fresh smooth start. Malty ale aroma with earthy hints. Earthy but still fresh. Floral hops are present, but as the beer is quite malty, they don't come out that great. The aftertaste is smooth, malty ale with floral hops, very dry, but with lots of malt.

As cascade hopped. Cask at GBBF 2014. It pours clear golden with no head. The nose is earthy, peachy, apricot, stone fruit, grain, honey and grass. The taste is earthly, toasty, grain, stone fruits, dough, mild pine and alcohol with a short finish. Flat, low carbonation and general bad condition. Bad.

Cask at the 2014 GBBF. Light amber orange colour with a thin white head. Aroma is subdued, biscuit malt, light parfummed. Flavour is grainy biscuit, light berry hop and light spices. Palate is flabby, watery. Meh.
