Slightly hazy amber beer, very thin white head. Light aroma of malt and fruit. Flavour is bitter malt, light citrus, a dash of caramel and it's got quite a refreshing taste to it. It's nothing special and there's not a lot to it but it's decent enough.

Cask-conditioned at the Black Country Arms, Walsall 10/3/2017. Golden in colour, with a tight, off-white, head. Apricot and tangerine fruits, caramel, some biscuity malts and leafy hops, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

On tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy gold with some creamy white head. Nose is OK, there’s an attempt at some late boil hopping with lemon and light pine, but mostly the golden ale shines through, yeast and flowers. Flavor has honey, mild biscuit, lemon, light straw, light grass. Finishes dry. Not aggressive enough to be a pale ale.

Draft at Craft 100 Spring 2016 - Craft Beer Co. Clapham, London. Pours mostly clear gold with a light, white foam head. The nose holds grainy pale malts and a little hay. Light sweet flavour with touches of lemon, rind, more pale grains. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced on the finish, with notes of biscuits and lemon peel. Pretty alright stuff.

Craft 100 at Craft Clapham. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, no head. Light dry palate. Grainy sweet pale malts with just a touch of citrus to provide some contrast. Mildly bitter finish. Pretty poor.

Cask gravity at Craft 100. It pours clear golden amber with a small white head. The aroma is cereal, bready, lemon peel, soap and grain. The taste is crisp, bitter, cereal, grain, lemon peel, grapefruit and a touch of soap with a dry finish. Medium body, limited carbonation and slightly oily mouth-peel, A simple, but drinkable enough golden ale.
