This beer starts with a classic Belgian Style Blanche base, spicy, fruity, and effervescent. We then added loads of blended apricots and a light dose of lemon for a touch of acidity.

Poured from the tap. Hazy gold with small white head. Apricot and lemon, the lemon gives a bit of cleaning product notes, mild wit underlay. Would have preferred a bit more apricot and bit less lemon, but it’s okay.

Hazy but dull colour. Thin, weak head. Lots of apricot sweetness on the nose. Not very interesting. On the palate, much more. First of all, it's a tart wit, and then it's got lemon and still that apricot sweetness. A bit sticky in terms of underlying phenols speaks to the tartness mostly coming from lemons, but all the same, that tartness makes this beer. Won't make the Field House Greatest Hits mix tape, but it's not bad.
