Cask at the Redbridge, Andover. An attractive bright golden amber colour with a tight white head; aroma of citrus, peach and biscuit; dry and fruity flavour with a light floury body that’s rather thin; then some light dusty hops before a dry fruity finish. Not too challenging and quite refreshing.

Cask at the Red Lion, Twickenham, London. A rare GK beer! Pours clear, yellow-gold with a tight, white cream head. Nose is all sunny straw with nips of lemon. Has a lightly sweet flavor with plenty of biscuity malts, light dough and some sweet lemon and light lime, too. Light bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Very good condition. Mild sweetness on the finish with lightly toasted dough, white sugar, wimpy lemon and other citrus, and some faintly tangy grass. It’s a pretty standard golden ale, but it does refresh a good bit.

Cask at Cockney Pub, Århus; just tapped
Hazy blond color, with sparse head. The aroma I light, with whispers of malt, toffee and manure. Crispy malt flavor, with some toffee; dry but smooth mouthfeel; good hopping with just a grassy hint.
Very fresh, light, drinkable.
