Wonkey Donkey is traditionally brewed to give a pleasurable pale amber bitter. It has a good fruity, hoppy aroma and a flavour of malt and hops that lead to a fruity finish.

Bottle. Lively pour with a decent, frothy white head. Deep golden colour with plenty of carbonation. Aroma had plenty of citrus hops, some hay and apricot sweetness. Flavour had some biscuit malt, spice and a prickly grapefruit finish. Good.

(Bottle 50 cl) Lightly hazy pilsener golden with a tall and frothy shaving foam like head. Refined fruity, lightly perfumy nose. Rather light body with vague malty notes and a marked bitter finish. Lots of grapefruit in there too. 261205

An unclear yellow beer with an off-white leaning towards light brown head. The aroma is dusty and yeasty with hints of cinnamon mixing in. The flavor is sweet spicy and fruity with notes of cinnamon and citrus - especially lemon.
