Microphone Czech is our take on the classic Czech Dark Lager. A style growing in popularity, this is not just a Czech knock-off of a Schwarzbier! Tipping in at a sessionable 5.5% ABV and perfect for crushing the colder months of the year, this beer is surprisingly crisp and light with complex, malty, notes and a distinct roasty character.
Defying preconceived notions about what a Lager should look like, pouring this beer into a glass reveals a near black-colored liquid topped with a fluffy tan head. Upon sipping, we’re getting light notes of caramel, toasted breads, dried dark fruit, fresh fudge, and coffee with hints of spice from the hops.

Taster at Tavern on the Lake in Hightstown, NJ. Number one with a bullet. Translucent cola brown color. Creamy beige cap. Toasted malt nose. Pleasant toasted malt flavor has notes of dark malt, toasted bread, chocolate and toffee. Soft mouthfeel. Herbal hop finish. Decent.
