Clear gold with a frothy white head and a very soft fruity aroma. Fresh and smooth, sweet bready malt with hints of fruit, a tiny hint of floral bitterness and a dryish finish.

Cask at Old Vic, Preston. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s malts and dried fruit in the aroma plus some hints of butter. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy but with a little underlying bitterness. There’s lemongrass and malts in the flavour with traces of spice and caramel coming later. Finish is slightly dry. This is distinctly reasonable – and a grower.

10/6/2022. Cask at the 17th Braintree Real Ale Festival. Pours clear bright gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet malt, fruit, light biscuit, butter and caramel. Medium plus sweetness, light but developing bitterness. Moderate body, oily, soft carbonation.

tried at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Golden colour with a thick white head. Light fruity aroma and taste. Mid sweet finish.

Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a slightly hazy, light gold colour with a halo of white head. Aroma of diluted stink bomb; just pure ammonium sulfide. The egginess managed to seep into the flavour followed by watery, light floral hop flavours and followed by sweet candy sugar... This cask was no keeper.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer fest 2013. Aroma is eggy farts, wet grassy dog. Flavour is worty, meaty autolysis. Hay. Pale dull yellow no head. Bad.

On gravity at Swindon Beer Festival, 24/10/2013. Golden with next to no head. Sweet, weetabix notes dominated this beer completely. Not pleasant.

Cask at The Vic, Preston. Clear golden yellow, thin white head. Light aromas of caramel, cereal and grassy hops. Decent btterness to match the light malt sweetness. Light body, thin texture. Another OK session beer.
