Great to be able to have cask beer again. Shame it's still without mates.

Cask @ Salhojankadun pub. Aroma is mild with toffee candy and sweet malt. Flavour has hayish grain, toffee, cereal and menthol. Finishes with herbal English hops. Quite good.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 25 Nov 2015) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, resin, tropical fruit and biscuity malt. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit and a generous resiny, citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and tasty with a generous hop character. Nice one.

Cask at CBC, Islington on 13th December 2015. Slightly hazy amber with off-white thinning foam and partial lacing. Earthy, malty and slightly cheesy aroma. Fruity hoppiness in-mouth with citrus balanced by sweetening berries against a biscuity malt. Tangy, medium-sweet fruits, malts and upper-mouth bitter notes in finish. Zingy mouthfeel and plenty of body. Lush.

Cask, on gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol October 2015. Golden in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Biscuity malts, tropical fruits, marmalade sweetness and a dry finish. Good.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and finely crisp. Sweet pale malts, touch of honey. Good Nelson hops - grape, orange peel and skunk. Trace of Riwaka lime. Earthy semi dry finish. Nice.

Cask @ Sir Titus Salt, Bradford. Golden with a very small head. Tropical fruit hopped with a good nose in this respect. Has an easy-drinking texture for its strength and a low bitterness.

Cask at the Tilly Shilling (JDW), Farnborough A straw coloured pour with thick cream head; somewhat muted fruity aroma with a touch of spice; crisp gooseberry taste with a creamy texture; and a clean finish with lingering tart fruit. Rather green and un-ripe overall, but a pretty good pale ale.

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW - London. Pours clear, light yellow with a frothy white he’d. The nose holds lime, pale bread, hints of ginger. Light sweet flavor with dry pale bread, a bit more ginger, lemon-lime, some bitter rind. Light bodied with fine to average carboantion. Finishes with more rind and restrained ginger. Tasty enough.
