Super pale with a floral hop character from classic British hops, and a light biscuit note from 100% Maris Otter malt.

Handpull cask at the Ilson Tap, Ilkeston. Light gold, clear and lively with a drothy white head. Light lemon aroma, grassy notes, boiled sweet. Tastes sweet with a grapefruit hop coming in mid-sip but never overpowering. While it's a nice, drinkable enough golden, it doesn't have a lot of character. Not the best of Magpie's beers.

568ml Bottle - Golden with a slight haze and a foamy white head. Grassy and slightly biscuity aroma with a hint of citrus. Earthy taste with lemon, grassy hops and some grain. Not bad, but not the best one I’ve had from Magpie.
