"Maisacher Perle", Flasche von Getränke Hörl, Altomünster. Auf dem Etikett ist jetzt die Brauerei Kühbach genannt, die den insolvent gewordenen Konkurrenzbetrieb übernommen hat. - Goldgelb, klar; rasch und spurlos verschwundener Schaum. - In der Nase schön brotig-getreidiges helles Malz und sortentypisch milde zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk satt hellmalzig mit getreidigen Aromen, angenehm dezenter Karamelsüße, Anklängen an Honig und feiner orangenbitterer und herbaler Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig; ganz leise alkoholisch. Im Abgang mild-aromatische Hopfenherbe. - Sauberes Exportbier, wohl das filtrierte Gegenstück zum Kellerbier aus Maisach aber für mein Gefühl etwas zurückhaltender gehopft als dieses, auch nicht so frisch und komplex. Vielleicht hat auch der Besitzerwechsel die Qualität beeinträchtigt?

Clear blond colour, white foam. Light grainy, malty, some sweetness, no off flavours. Just a good Helles.

On tap at Vesperia, München, Wednesday 29th March 2023 we have a Billy Nomates gig tonight at Strom München. Pours (*actually difficult to tell as it's served in a stein) slight sweetness, light fruity edge, good soft moufeel, like it.

Bottle during a blind tasting. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is buttery, light cardboard, pale malts. Taste is the same, even some light booze in the back. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not impressive.

500 ml bottle. Pours pale clear golden with big foamy head. Hay, citrus notes, grass, metallic notes, pale malts and white bread. Crisp dry bittterness. Medium bodied, lively carbonated, oily texture, dry finish, crisp and fresh. Outstanding Export.

Süß herber, würzig trockener Antrunk. Steigende Intensität, geringe Bitterkeit, die Süße bleibt konstant, angenehm. Süffig, mittellanger Nachhall. 8/8/9/8/7/8

Golden with little white head. Aroma is good noble hops, with some sweet malty grains. Clean but nice. Sweet malty body with bitter tart accents. Drinkable and full bodied. I like it
