We love IPA’s but often we try one we haven’t had before and think WOW this is a great IPA, but half way through the pint we can’t drink any more. Our goal with our IPA’s is balance. Sure we like loads of hop aroma and flavor, and a nice crisp bitterness, but always balanced. We don’t believe in he who dies with the highest IBU’s (International Bittering Units) wins..

On tap at Pinellas Ale Works, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out clean, bright piney hops, light citrus, and a dry biscuity malt. Flavour reveals bright woody piney hops, with just enough biscuity malt base. Good west coast piney hop character. Very good.

Draught at the brewery. Lovely lightish gold colour, maybe a tiny bit hazy, smattering of white head. Gorgeous punchy citrus and berry in the aroma. Bittersweet taste, big fruity hop to the fore, full long finish. A delicious balanced IPA and a highlight of my evening.
