Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy deep golden, small head. Grapefruity nose. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Soft bready malt, followed up by increasing salty bitterness.Well balanced beer where the hops does not take over too much to hide the nice malt character.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget, e-order. BB 2013.02.04, sampled on July 13, 2012Murky brown color, smallish off-white head. Phenolic, spicy, orange peel, "pumpernickel" bread, fresh, malty scent. Malty, dry, grainy, yeast, bitter taste. Medium mouthfeel, pretty high dry chalky bitterness. "American PAle Ale" as per the bottle? Really? I’d say more an American Amber or perhaps toward Brown, both on color, alcohol content and taste.Alcohol warming feeling.
