A Belgian style Abbey Ale made with imported English Pale malt, German Munich and Belgian Special B malts. The kettle addition hops were a light addition of the German Perle varietal that is barely discernible. Juicy malt notes combine with fruit flavors of ripe peach, pear, dried apricot and a pleasant peppery finish to showcase the complex nature of the yeast strain used to ferment this brew. Dankuwel!

Somewhere between a tripel and a dubbel. Has a lot of citrus, with some booze and not a lot of floral yeast detectable here. Pours cloudy reddish-orange without head or lacing on cask at Smoke and Barrel.

32oz growler at home pours a deep, translucent orange with some lacing, white head. Nose has a lot of clove and spice, some burnt candy sugar, yeast, some orange, some papaya. Flavor is the same, strong candy, clove, a little all spice, orange, papaya, slightly floral, a little nail polish, some booze. Candy, sticky finish.

Had this last night on draft - oh yeah, #2500 on RB. Poured a slightly cloudy, rich amber color, with a small off-white head. Aroma was sweet malts, touch of spices, light fruits and a touch of alcohol. Flavor was light sweet notes, fruit, spice. Slight alcohol notes, but is pretty darn smooth. Really enjoyed this one.
