16 oz. can, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma and flavour are quite fruity, with pithy stone fruits, citrus hops and dry biscuity malt. Nicely fruity, with a dry body and finish. Solid stuff.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy yellow color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing. The aroma consists of piney hops, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of citrus, resiny hops and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Taster pours at Cigarette City and Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival. Appearance is hazy, milky dark yellow/light brown with small head with fair retention, mild lacing. Aroma is strong tropical fruit hops. Taste is bursting with tropical fruits, bittersweet grapefruit, mild citrus and malts. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation, finish as taste. Overall, a really strong offering if you like really juicy hop flavors and aromas. A nice twist on their already good IPA.

Whym, Portsmouth tap: pours hazy orange with a white head. Atomanis tropical frui and some pine. Nice tropical fruit flavors. Bitter but not intense about it. Body is very nice... Little soft and kind of smooth. Quite nice. I liked it but not as much as everyone else.

Bottle from Bert’s Slightly hazy lemony golden with a huge frothy white head that takes forever to recede. Huge juicy fruity aromas as soon as I get it into the glass. Peach pineapple light citrus and a little earth with some sweet bready malt behind it. Flavor follows the aroma very well lots of fruit with just a hint of earth an resin to round it out. I’m loving this brewery, great stuff!

Draft at Tuckaway Tavern, Raymond, NH, 5/23/2016. Hazy golden color, standard head retention. Aroma seems to be mostly the same as the original version with more yeast presence. Maybe a tad more malty hints.

The flavor is bold fruit with a more malty English character / feel. The pine is still here in the finish with a slightly lower hop punch then the original. This is a nice experiment and certainly has the quality that is Stoneface. English ale drinkers will love this.
